With new variants and increasing production volumes, the testing of assemblies is becoming increasingly complex. Different products require frequent changeovers, and multiple test steps are spread across individual stations. At the same time, short cycle times, traceability and consistent quality must be maintained – often under considerable time and cost pressure.
The Multi Rotary Table Test Cell was developed specifically for this situation. It combines ICT, AOI, flash testing, functional testing, and EOL testing in a fully automated system with integrated tray handling. Product changeovers are accomplished in a very short time using cost-effective changeover kits, without the need to reconfigure the entire process. The result is a clearly structured, reproducible test sequence with a minimal footprint and manageable investment requirements—even in the face of increasing product variety.
