You have come to this page via a link because you want information about our handling of (your) personal data. In order to fulfil our information obligations according to Art. 12 ff of the Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO), we would like to provide you with the following information about data protection:

Which data of yours are processed by us? And for what purposes?

We process the data you have sent us in connection with your application in order to assess your suitability for the position (or any other open position in our company) and to complete the application process.

What is the legal basis for this?

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in this application procedure is primarily § 26 BDSG in the version valid from 25.05.2018. Thereafter, the processing of the data required in connection with the decision to establish an employment relationship is permissible.

Should the data become necessary for legal prosecution after completion of the application procedure, data processing may be carried out based on the requirements of Art. 6 DSGVO, in particular to safeguard legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our interest then lies in the assertion or defense of claims.

How long is the data stored?

Candidate data will be deleted after 6 months in case of rejection.

If you have agreed to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool. There the data will be deleted after two years. You can revoke your consent at any time.

If you have been accepted for a job, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our per-sonnel information system.

To which recipients will the data be forwarded?

Your applicant data will be reviewed by Human Resources after receipt of your application. Suitable appli-cations are then forwarded internally to the department managers responsible for the vacant position. The next steps will then be coordinated. As a matter of principle, only those persons within the company who need your data for the normal course of our application procedure will have access to it.

Where is the data processed?

Your personal data will be processed by us exclusively in computer centres of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Your rights as a “data subject”

You have the right to information about your personal data processed by us.

In the case of a request for information which is not made in writing, please understand that we may require proof from you that you are the person you claim to be.

Furthermore, you have the right to demand the correction, deletion or limitation of the processing provided you are legally entitled to do so.

In addition, you have the right to object to the processing within the scope of the statutory provisions. The same applies to the right to data transfer.
